Motherhood is not only birthing a child. It is also having a mother's heart as well. An adoptive mother is also a mother. It can be someone who is like a mother. Because a mother loved a child. Whether you are a biological, adoptive, or someone like a mother, you are a mother.
In the year 2020, we celebrated Mother's Day in a social distance because of the Coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, we are slowly transitioning to our pre-covid celebration. For the past few days, there is the news of lesser restrictions on COVID protocols. The mask mandate will stay in place.
- Everyone ages 2 and older should wear a mask in public settings and when around people who don’t live in their household.
- Keep a safe space of at least 3 feet between yourself and other people who are not from your household.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
- Effective April 5, all Nevadans ages 16 and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Find a vaccine location and SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT to get your COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccines are free of charge.
