We're all in this together. The coronavirus from Wuhan crippled the world. But not the people of the world. Everyone has a role to play as we work together to stop the spread of COVID-19. The latest recommendations can be found at www.coronavirus.gov.

Be Counted in 2020 U.S. Census
The census is so important and required by law. Please complete your short 10-minute 2020 Census questionnaire online through the U.S. Census Bureau's website at www.My2020Census.gov. Responding online helps conserve natural resources, save taxpayer money, and process data more efficiently. The Census Bureau also is offering American Sign Language support and has a toll-free Telephone Display Device (TDD) number of (844) 467-2020. The census also can be taken over the telephone. The Census Bureau is operating toll-free language assistance lines in many languages including the three most common languages spoken in Southern Nevada:
- English (844) 330-2020
- Spanish (844) 468-2020
- Tagalog (844) 478-2020
Households that don't respond early this spring online or by phone will receive a paper questionnaire that can return by mail. If you do not respond, a census taker in-person will come to your house between May and July.
FREE COVID APP
Apple Inc. – in partnership with the White House Coronavirus Task Force and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – released an app and website that will provide guidance through a series of questions about health and exposure to determine if they should seek care for COVID-19 symptoms. The tool provides CDC recommendations on the next steps including guidance on social distancing and self-isolating, how to closely monitor symptoms, recommendations on testing, and when to contact a medical provider.
Users can download the free app from App Store available for the iPhone and iPad. Or click to access the tool online.
