The summer season of the entertainment capital of the world has been known as "the hottest summer season." Not only for the world-renowned shows and entertainment but also for the scourging heat of the sun. But not a reason not to have fun under the sun.
1. The Great RTC Summer Break Scavenger Hunt
The RTC and The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District are teaming up to help families have a fun, safe summer adventure, with chances to win gift baskets and tickets to Las Vegas Lights games, Discovery Children’s Museum, and more! Visit your local Library District location, The Bonneville Transit Center or submit the scavenger hunt form.
Local Fares
All passes are valid on all routes. Exact fare is required when purchasing passes on board or at ticket vending machines. Children five (5) years of age and younger ride free and must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Cool off at the pool and splash pads

Most splash pads are free! Splash pads are open May 1 through Sept. 30 daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The City of Las Vegas Daily pool fees for individuals at city pools are:
- Ages 3 and younger – free
- Ages 4-17 - $2
- Adults ages 18-49 - $3
- Seniors ages 50+ - $2
Three-month passes are priced at $35 for a child ages 4-17 or seniors ages 50+, $70 for adults ages 18-49. Passes are valid at all six city of Las Vegas pools. Pool passes are currently for sale at Municipal Pool, Pavilion Center Pool, and all city recreation centers, and will be sold at seasonal pools when they are open.

3. Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse

All summer, every Tuesday and Wednesday for Regal Summer Movie Express. During the first show of the day, enjoy $2 tickets! Save even more by joining Regal Crown Club to get 50% off of popcorn every Tuesday! Summer Movie Express runs May 23 through September 6, individual theatres will only participate in the 9 weeks that align with the local school system’s summer break schedule.

For $2 dollars a ticket, grab the crew and escape the heat for a fun day on the big screen!
Running from June 6th to August 31st, Summerfest features beloved films of old & new, original & sequel, and animation & live-action that are sure to entertain audiences of all ages. You can also purchase a Value Tray including popcorn, a small drink, and candy for only $3.50 with the purchase of your Summerfest tickets.
