Five Ways to Celebrate National Park Week - In or Outside the Park

Explore amazing places, discover history and culture, and volunteer at National Parks

By Donna Opelac, Editor & Publisher April 1, 2023

1) Give yourself the gift of good health at the park or at a virtual park.

Get out and enjoy the health benefits of the great outdoors. Get your dose of nature at home, in the neighborhood, on a nearby park or trail, or virtually.

Park fees are waived on the first day of National Park Week, at National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee. You'll still have to pay fees for amenities or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.

See our interactive map of the 50 State, National Parks, and Recreation Areas from the Las Vegas Strip. Please note that some places are not managed by the National Park Service and maybe not be included in the Free Entrance Days in the National Parks.
