Guide to Black History Events at Las Vegas

2021 marks the 45th anniversary of Black History Month

Black History Month Series at Clark County Library

Everyday in February will feature a notable Black American figure in history.  

Teen ages 12-17 fulfills Nevada Common Core standard SS.9-12WH.20, SS.9-12WH.19, SS.9-12WH.26.Learn about different historical figures and collect a different button featuring the icon of the day.  Some of the icons may come with more than a button so try to collect them all!. Supplies are limited. Teen Must Be Present.

Spring Preserve 12th annual Black History Month Celebration

Though The Springs Preserve is temporarily closed until further notice, it is still everything we look forward to each February. This year, in a brand-new and exciting way – all from the safety and comfort of your own home. Enjoy spectacular music and dance performances, fun and educational activities for kids, and captivating speakers and demonstrations for the whole family.
