from less than a year old to more than 99 years old. 

Ring out the old and ring in the new at the family entertainment capital of the world. 

NOON YEAR’S EVE on Dec. 31, 2021

For the little ones who may not make it to the New Year's Eve ball drop, ring in the "Noon Year" with games, crafts, songs, and more!

America’s Party 2022

The New Year's Eve "America's Party 2022" festivities include both the spectacular fireworks on the Las Vegas Strip and the live concerts and fireworks at Fremont Street Experience. Plus free rides and extended hours of transportation for the Las Vegas New Year's Eve revelers.

Road Closure

On New Year's Eve night, the entire 4 miles of the Vegas Strip is closed to any vehicle. Traffic will be closed from Russell to Sahara, from Mandalay Bay at the southern end to Stratosphere at the north, around 6 pm. Read on the road closure at Downtown Las Vegas and plan your route accordingly.

FREE and Convenient Transportation

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada will offer free rides on all fixed routes on Friday, December 31, 2021, from 6 pm New Year’s Eve to 9 am New Year’s Day. View or download detour sheet.

If you plan to celebrate indoors, the majority of hotels on the Strip prohibits entrance from 11:00 pm Dec. 31, 2021 or earlier upto early hours on New Year's Day. During this time, they require a room key to access the property. The free tram stops at MGM hotels will be closed at 11:30 pm on Dec. 31, 2021 or earlier upto early hours on New Year's Day.

The Las Vegas Monorail will operate continuously from 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 through the entire New Year’s Day and until 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 for a total of 44 straight hours.  NYE SPECIAL tickets can be purchased here. AAA is offering Tipsy Tow free ride up to 10 miles for tipsy motorists and their vehicles from 6 pm, Monday, Dec. 31 to 6 am Tuesday, Jan 1, New Year's Day. The service is available by calling 1-800-AAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357) for members and non-members.

Fireworks Extravaganza

Once the clock struck midnight, fireworks will be launched from eight rooftop locations:

  • ARIA Resort & Casino
  • Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
  • Caesars Palace Las Vegas
  • Treasure Island – TI Hotel & Casino
  • The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
  • Resorts World Las Vegas
  • The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod

DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

Fremont Street Experience New Year's Eve party is an adult-only event. The pedestrian mall will be closed to the public from 4:00 pm on Dec. 31, 2021 or earlier.

Plaza Hotel & Casino will light up the downtown skyline at midnight with a spectacular fireworks show.
