The entire community is invited to join in honoring our servicemen and women who have served the nation in the armed forces.

1. Special Events

VETERANS DAY PARADE IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

  • Sat., Nov. 11, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. It starts with a parade flyover. The parade route at 4th Street and Garces Avenue ends at 4th Street and Stewart Avenue.
  • Parking options: City Hall Parking Garage at 500 S. Main, at Clark Ave.; Lewis Street Parking Garage at 321 S. Casino Center Blvd. at Lewis Ave.; Carson St. Parking Lot at 200 S. Las Vegas Blvd. at Carson Ave.; Fremont Street Experience Parking Garage at 111 S. 4th St. at Carson Ave.; and Neonopolis Underground Parking Garage at 179 N 4th St. at Ogden.

  • Honoring the Brave on Nov. 11 from noon – 4 p.m. at U.S. Vets, 525 E. Bonanza Rd., Las Vegas.

3. Free transportation

RTC 
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) will offer active military service members and veterans complimentary rides on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces may ride all 39 RTC transit routes for free from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Veterans Day. To ride, service members simply need to present the bus driver with their military or veteran identification card from any state when boarding.

4. Discounts for attractions and shows

HyperX Esports Arena at Luxor: military discount of 15%

Bodies… The Exhibition at Luxor: $7 military discount at the box office.

Real Bodies at Horseshoe: military discount of $2 at the box office.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor: $7 military discount at the box office.

Big Apple Coaster at NYNY: $5 discount available to members of the military redeemable at the box office. 

Princess Diana Las Vegas:  $4 discount for members of the military. The attraction is located in Crystals, which is in front of Aria.

Topgolf behind MGM Grand: As part of their “Heroes Program,” Topgolf offers a 10% military discount on gameplay.

Eiffel Tower Experience in Paris: 20% military discount which is redeemable in person at the box office.

Madame Tussauds at Venetian: military discount of $10 off standard admission.

Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N at TI: A military discount of $20 off per ticket at the box office

Neon Museum: military discount of $4-$5 dollars depending on the tour.

Atomic Museum: A $2 discount is offered to members of the military

Natural History Museum: Members of the military save $2 on tickets with a valid ID.

The Old Mormon Fort: $1 discount to veterans and members of the military, reducing the cost from $3 to $2.

The Punk Rock Museum: $3 military discount.

5. Free meals and discounts at local, big chain restaurants and casino buffets. Check your favorite restaurants for details.

APPLEBEE’S: Active-duty military, veterans, reserves, and National Guard that dine in restaurants get a complimentary full-size entree from a special menu. They also get a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, to-go, or delivery within a three-week period.

BJ’s RESTAURANT AND BREWHOUSE: On Nov. 11, veterans with a valid military ID can dine in and enjoy a free chocolate chunk cookie with a $9.95 purchase. Those who spend more than $14.95 for dine-in or take-out will receive a bounce-back coupon for a free appetizer to be redeemed between Nov.12 and Dec. 31, 2023.

CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN: Veterans and active-duty military members get a complimentary meal on Nov. 11. They will also receive a BOGO offer to redeem for a pizza from Nov. 12 to Nov. 21.

CHILI’S: Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11 with proof of service. Only for dine-in.

DAVE & BUSTER’S: Veterans get a free entree (up to $20) and a free ($10) power card with a valid veterans ID card on Nov. 11.

DENNY’S: Veterans and active military can receive a free original Grand Slam on Friday, Nov. 10 from 5 a.m. to noon. Dine-in only. Must show valid ID or DD214.

DUNKIN: Veterans and active-duty military get a free doughnut of their choice on Nov. 11 at participating locations. Offer only available in-store.

EINSTEIN BROS. BAGELS: Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) with a purchase in-store on Nov. 11

HARD ROCK CAFE: Active-duty and veterans get a free Legendary Burger on Nov. 11. Dine-in only with a valid ID.

HOOTERS: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free entree from a special menu with the purchase of a beverage at participating locations on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

IHOP: Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White, and blueberry pancakes or pancake combo on Nov. 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dine-in only at participating restaurants.

KONA GRILL: Veterans and active-duty military get a 50% discount with valid ID on Nov. 11.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE: Active-duty military and veterans get a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant on Nov. 11

RED LOBSTER: Veterans and active-duty military and reservists get free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 11. Must have proof of service. Vouched must be used between Nov. 13 and Dec. 10 for dine-in.

RED ROBIN: Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary Red’s Big Tavern Burger on Nov. 11 with a valid ID. Dine-in only, not valid for online or to-go orders. The free meal also comes with endless fires.

SIZZLER: Participating locations offer a free lunch on Nov. 11 to active-duty military and veterans until 4 p.m. Choose from a special menu.

SMOOTHIE KING: Active-duty and retired military get a free smoothing from one of three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations on Nov. 11 with valid ID.

STARBUCKS: Veterans and military service members and military spouses will receive a free tall hot or cold brewed coffee at participating shops on Nov. 11.

TAP HOUSE GRILL: Veterans and active military personnel get their first 6 ounces of frozen yogurt for free on Nov. 11 at participating locations.

TEXAS ROADHOUSE: Active-duty and veterans can dine in or receive a meal voucher on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with military ID. A special menu will be offered. Vouchers can be used until May 30, 2024.

WALK-ON’S SPORTS BISTREAUX: Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free Scholarship Burger with a valid military ID.

WENDY’S: Active-duty military and veterans get a free breakfast combo on Nov. 11 at participating locations during breakfast hours with a valid ID.
