Oh, September. The kids are back to school, the sun is going down earlier, the nights are cooler ... and fall officially arrives.

But did you know it's also the month to eat a cheeseburger, celebrate comic books, and talk like a pirate?

Here are 7 September holidays that can help you have family fun in Las Vegas!

1. Order a pizza
Sept. 5

Yum, yum... get me some! National Cheese Pizza Day is the perfect day to order dinner from your favorite pizza spot in Las Vegas!

2. Celebrate grandma and grandpa!
Sept. 11

If they live nearby, take grandma and grandpa out on the town on National Grandparents' Day to their favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. If that's not possible? Send a card or make that call! This is also a good excuse for the kids to make a craft!

3. Eat a cheeseburger
Sept. 18

If there's anything we love more than pizza ... it's cheeseburgers, on National Cheeseburger Day!

4. Talk like a pirate
Sept. 19

Aaaaargh! It's talk like a pirate day! Celebrate by dressing the part. You're sure to have a swashbuckling good time!

5. Try for a hole in one
Sept. 21

Surprise the kids with a trip to one of Las Vega's great mini golf courses on National Miniature Golf Day! Who can get a hole-in-one?

6. Welcome fall!
Sept. 22

Fall has arrived! Many of our favorite Las Vegas events take place in the fall! Check our event calendar for not to miss events.
