A new “Stop, Swab & Go” COVID-19 testing site will be open Monday through Friday next week at Eldorado High School, 1139 Linn Lane, near Nellis Boulevard and Washington Avenue, as an additional location to the existing three sites in the Las Vegas Valley and Mesquite. A drive-thru site will be located in the school’s parking lot. Walk-up testing will be available in the school gym.
Free testing as part of the “Stop, Swab and Go” program is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Las Vegas locations. The tests are free, self-administered nasal swabs. No proof of health insurance is required. The tests are available to anyone who wants to be tested, whether people have symptoms or not, including families and children. The public can register online for appointments at www.DoINeedaCOVID19Test.com. Those who arrive without appointments can register on site upon arrival. An on-site registration area will be set up in the Eldorado High School gym for those who may need to register on-site and don’t have computer access at home. - Texas Station Hotel and Casino, 2101 Texas Star Lane in North Las Vegas, 89032
- Sam Boyd Stadium, 7000 E. Russell Road, 89122
- Eldorado High School, 1139 Linn Lane, 89110
- City of Mesquite Streets Division Garage, 725 Hardy Way, Mesquite, Nev., 89027
- (Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to noon Sept. 10, 14, 15, 16 and 17)
Registration is now open for a special 14-day COVID-19 testing blitz called Stop, Swab & Go! at www.DoINeedaCOVID19Test.com.
Testing locations use a self-administered nasal swab test that allows you to swab your own nose while in your vehicle, supervised by trained medical volunteers.

Results are delivered within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email notification when results are available. Instructions will be provided to log in to view and print your lab report.
If you receive an appointment, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you PRINT and bring your test voucher with you on the day of your test.
The testing is free, convenient and will be available Aug. 31 through Sept. 18, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, at three locations:
- Fiesta Henderson Hotel and Casino, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson
- Texas Station Hotel and Casino, 2101 Texas Star Lane in North Las Vegas
- Sam Boyd Stadium, 7000 E. Russell Road
(Each location will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observation of Labor Day.)
Appointments are not required but are encouraged. No health insurance is required. Testing at the hotel sites will take place in the parking garages. Testing at Sam Boyd will be drive-thru in the stadium parking lot and an area will be set up for walk-up testing inside the stadium’s concourse. Free face coverings also will be offered to everyone who gets tested. Test results are expected to be available within 3 to 5 business days.
