FREE Annual 4th Grade and Free Access for 5th Graders for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year

All 4th graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) are entitled to the FREE Every Kid in a Park paper pass. The pass is valid for the duration of the 4th-grade school year through the following summer (September - August). Fourth graders and their families get free access to hundreds of parks, lands, and water for the duration of the pass.

The paper pass can be obtained by visiting the Every Kid Outdoors website. Print the paper pass and keep it in a safe place. Exchange the paper pass at a federal recreation site. Click to select on the list of the federal recreation sites that issue passes. At some sites, the ranger will exchange your paper pass for a plastic pass. The plastic pass is waterproof and a great keepsake! Click to select the sites with plastic passes. Digital pass (on the phone or tablets) is not accepted in exchange for an Annual 4th Grade Pass.

Then plan your trip. Find the interactive map on the 50 Day Trips from Las Vegas Strip to State & Federal Recreation Areas. Please note that the FREE Annual Every Kid in a Park Pass is NOT valid on State Parks. It can only be used on the national parks and federal recreation areas that accept the 4th-grade pass on this list.
